Day 1: ARRIVAL - VARANASI
Pickup from Bangalore airport and drop-off in Varanasi; check-in at the hotel to relax for a while. Then, you will be taken to visit the local sights of Varanasi. Varanasi, also known as Benares or Kashi, is a city located on the Ganges River in northern India. It holds a central place in the traditions of pilgrimage, death, and mourning in the Hindu world. It is situated in the middle Ganges valley in the southeastern part of the state of Uttar Pradesh and is one of the world’s oldest continually inhabited cities. During your stay in Varanasi, you will visit places such as Banaras Hindu University and Tulsi Manas Temple. Later, back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: VARANASI SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, spend the whole day sightseeing in Varanasi. Start with a boat ride on the Ganges River, visit the ghats, explore the narrow lanes of the old city, and enjoy the beautiful sunset over the Ganges River. Later, spend the night at your hotel in Varanasi.
Day 3: VARANASI - GAYA
After breakfast in the early morning, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and travel to Gaya. A city located in the eastern part of Bihar. In Gaya, visit the famous Mahabodhi Temple, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the place where Gautama Buddha attained enlightenment. Later, return to Varanasi and spend the night in your hotel.
Day 4: VARANASI - PRAYAGRAJ - AYODHYA
Every morning, check out of the hotel and drive to Prayagraj. Visit the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet, and explore historical sites like Allahabad Fort and Ananda Bhavan. Later, check out of your hotel and drive to Ayodhya for your overnight stay.
Day 5: AYODHYA
After having breakfast, proceed to visit sights In Ayodhya, visit Ram Mandir, the birthplace of Lord Rama, Hanuman Garhi, a 10th-century temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, and Kanak Bhawan, a temple dedicated to Lord Rama and his wife, Goddess Seeta. After exploring Ayodhya, head to Agra in the evening by bus to spend the night.
Day 6: AGRA
After checking into your hotel and finishing breakfast, you can start exploring Agra, which is famous for the Taj Mahal. However, the city has more to offer beyond the Taj. Visit the magnificent Agra Fort, fascinating tombs, and mausoleums that showcase the best of Mughal architecture. Some of the other places that you can visit include Fatehpur Sikri, among others. After exploring Agra, you can return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 7: MATHURA
In the morning, check out from the hotel and travel to Mathura. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation. There are many nearby places worth visiting, such as the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple, which is believed to be the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Another interesting site is the Jama Masjid, a 17th-century mosque built by Aurangzeb. Additionally, there is the Dwarkadhish Temple, a grand temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. For those interested in the spiritual significance of the area, Vishram Ghat, a sacred bathing spot on the Yamuna River, is also worth a visit. In the evening, check out of the hotel and travel to Delhi for an overnight stay.
Day 8: DELHI
After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast, take some time to explore the mesmerizing city of Delhi, with its fascinating contrasts. You can witness the blending of ancient and modern cultures, as well as the harmonious coexistence of different religions. Begin your journey by visiting the iconic Red Fort and marvelling at its impressive Mughal-era architecture. Next, head to India Gate, a towering monument that commemorates the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I. Finally, visit the Qutub Minar, a stunning 73-meter tower that dates back to the 12th century. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of Delhi's rich history. After a day filled with adventure and discovery, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 9: SIGHT SEEING-DEPARTURE
After having breakfast, there will be free time for shopping and visiting other sights before checking out of the hotel. Then, head back to Delhi airport for departure to Bangalore.
