Tour Description

1

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra airport- Darjeeling

You will be picked up at Bagdogra Airport and taken to your Darjeeling hotel to check in and freshen up. After that, spend half a day sightseeing in Darjeeling. Spend the night in the hotel.

Day 2: Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning trek to Tiger Hill to watch the sunrise over the majestic Kanchenjunga mountains. On your way back, stop by Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop. After breakfast, explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, and Tenzing Rock Institute. After that, take a stroll around the mall road and visit the local shops. Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok

After breakfast, check out and depart for Gangtok. Check into the Deluxe Hotel and freshen up before heading out for a half-day of local sightseeing. Spend the night in Gangtok.

Day 4: Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, begin the day by visiting Tashi viewpoint for panoramic views of the Himalayas, as well as the Enchey and Rumtek monasteries. In the evening, return to Gangtok to spend the night.

Day 5: Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Tsomgo Lake, a sacred glacial lake (subject to availability due to weather conditions) situated at an altitude of 12,400 feet. also visit Baba Mandir, a revered shrine dedicated to Indian Army soldier Baba Harbhajan Singh. Spend the evening at leisure exploring the local markets, followed by a night in Gangtok.

Day 6: Gangtok to Pelling

After breakfast, check out of the hotel in Gangtok. Transfer to Pelling (approximately 4-5 hours), a charming town known for its scenic beauty and monasteries. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and get some rest. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and staying at the hotel overnight.

Day 7: Pelling Sightseeing

After having breakfast, visit Pemayangte Monastery, one of the oldest and most significant monasteries in Sikkim. Explore the famous Khecheopalri Lake, also known as the "Wishing Lake," surrounded by lush greenery. Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges from the Sangachoeling Monastery. Later, return to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
