Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Bangalore Airport, you will be transferred to Kathmandu Airport, where you will check into your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring local markets and places on your own. You will stay overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing
After having breakfast at the hotel, you’ll head on a full-day sightseeing tour of the local attractions in Kathmandu. Firstly, start with Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Then drive to Jal Narayan Temple, also known as Budhanilkantha Temple, located at the base of Shivapuri Hill. The temple houses a large reclining statue of Lord Vishnu, carved from a single black stone, resting on a bed of snakes in a sacred pond. After that, visit Swayambhunath Stupa, famously known as the Monkey Temple, a religious site with Hindu and Buddhist harmony. You must climb certain steps to reach the top of the hill, where the stupa is located. Later in the afternoon, explore the Patan Durbar Square, one of the three Durbar squares in Kathmandu Vally, located in the heart of the city of Lalitpur (Patan). Explore the ancient royal palace complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring stunning Newari architecture, temples, and palaces. Other notable key attractions include the Krishna Mandir, the Bhimsen Temple, and the Patan Museum.
Day 3: Drive to Pokhara
After having breakfast, begin the scenic drive to Pokhara, a journey that takes around 6–7 hours by road. En route, enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayas, lush landscapes, and traditional villages. On the way, visit Manakamana Devi Temple, situated atop a hill and accessible via a cable car ride from Kurintar, which offers stunning views of the Trishuli River and the surrounding hills. The cable car journey spans about 2–3 km and takes 10–15 minutes. Explore the temple complex and pay homage to the goddess Manakamana, believed to fulfil the wishes of her devotees. Then, continue your journey to Pokhara. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 4: Fly to Jomsom and Visit Muktinath Temple
Early in the in the morning, have your breakfast and transfer to Pokhara airport for a scenic flight to Jomsom, which is about 15-20 minutes of flying time and offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Check in to the hotel in Jomsom and drive to Muktinath Temple; the journey takes around 1-2 hours. Embark on a spiritual journey as you explore the temple complex. Muktinath Temple is a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists, known for its natural spring waters and 108 sacred water spouts. Take part in rituals, prayers, and offerings at the temple. Later, return to Jomsom for an overnight stay.
Day 5: Fly to Pokhara
Early in the morning, fly back to Pokhara. Check into your hotel and freshen up. Then get ready to explore Pokhara sites. Visit the Tal Barahi Temple, located on an island in the middle of the lake, dedicated to the Hindu goddess Barahi. Then head to Bindhyabasini Temple, one of the oldest and most revered temples in Pokhara, dedicated to the goddess Durga. Next, visit Devi’s Fall, also known as Patale Chhango, a unique natural waterfall located southwest of Pokhara. Visit Gupteswhara Mahadev Cave, one of the longest caves in Nepal. Later, spend the evening leisurely strolling around Phewa Lake and enjoying the boat ride on the lake. Later, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Pokhara.
Day 6: Drive Back to Kathmandu
After having breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive back to Kathmandu. As you reach, check into your hotel, freshen up, and spend the day at leisure. You can explore the market around you for shopping, enjoy your last day's dinner, and spend the night in Kathmandu.
Day 7: Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then check out and transfer to Kathmandu airport for your flight back to Bangalore.
