Day 1: Arrival in Amritsar
Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport or railway station, you will be transferred to the hotel. After freshening up, you can visit the Wagah border ceremony and explore the local sights before spending the night in Amritsar.
Day 2: Golden Temple – Amritsar
After breakfast, start your city tour with the blessings of the Golden Temple, the most important Sikh shrine, which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs and is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then visit Jallianwala Bagh, where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed, forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. After lunch, visit the Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum. In the afternoon, drive to Katra, check in to your hotel, and overnight stay at the Katra Hotel.
Day 3: Mata Shri Vaishno Devi
Early in the morning, start your trek to the Vaishnodevi temple. The trek is approximately 14 kilometres from Katra. Reach the temple, offer your prayers, and seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi. After the Darshan trek back to Katra, spend the rest of the day relaxing at your hotel and staying overnight.
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport/railway station for your onward journey.
